What Does This Do?
This utility updates the CLI�� Files? software on the handheld to version 1.1.2 and corrects issues with ZIP files being decompressed to the wrong directory on the handheld.

IMPORTANT: This file is only for use with the models identified. Not all models are sold in all countries.
Important Notes
This update requires that approximately 280KB of memory be available in your CLI��? handheld. Before installing this application, confirm that there is enough memory available.
To check the available memory in your CLI�� handheld:
Tap the "Home" icon.
Tap the "Menu" icon and select "CLI�� Launcher".
NOTE: Select "App" if using Standard view and select "App".
Tap "Info..." from the "App" drop-down list.
All internal data information is displayed.
Tap "Size" at the bottom of the screen.
Check the "Free Space:..." listed.
Tap the "Done" button to exit.
During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
Make sure that Palm Desktop for CLI�� handheld software is installed on your PC from the installation CD-ROM supplied with your CLI�� handheld and that the computer is configured to be able to perform a HotSync? operation.
To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
Download and Installation Instructions
Download the CLIEFILES_ENUS_INST.PRC file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
On your computer, start the "Palm Desktop? for CLI��" software.
Click the "Install" icon.
At "Install Tool" window, select the desired username from the user list.
Click the "Add"... button.
Navigate to the location where you saved the update file and select the CLIEFILES_ENUS_INST.PRC file and then click "Open".
Click the "Done" button. The update module will be installed at the next HotSync? operation.
Connect your CLI�� handheld to the computer and perform a HotSync operation. The update files will be installed.
After the HotSync operation, a dialog box appears, prompting you to reset your CLI��? handheld. Tap "Reset".

Confirm a Successful Installation
Tap the "Home" icon.
Tap the "Menu" icon and select "CLI�� Launcher".
NOTE: Select "App" if using Standard view and select "App".
Tap "Info..." from the "App" drop-down list.
All internal data information is displayed.
Tap "Version" at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down the list of file names. Verify that the following file name and version is shown as follows:
CLIE Files v.1.1.2

NOTE: If the version number listed is not 1.1.2, please download and install the update again.
Tap the "Done" button to exit.
