What Does This Do?
This utility installs the NetFront? v3.0 Software for CLI��? Handheld to resolve the following issues:
The program may go into an idle state when retrieving data from a page memo.
An incorrect file name is saved when a save operation is performed.
A proxy server is required for displaying certain web content.
The application will not start after connecting and then disconnecting the CLI��? Handheld from a network.
Overall application stability.

IMPORTANT: This file is only for use with the models identified. Not all models are sold in all countries.
Important Notes
For PEG-NX60 and PEG-NX70V only: BEFORE installing this update, be sure to install the CLI�� Handheld System Patch.
This update application requires that you have approximately 2.1MB of available memory in your CLI�� handheld. Before installing this application, confirm that there is enough memory available.
To check the available memory in your CLI�� handheld:
Tap the "Home" icon.
Tap the "Menu" icon and select "App".
Tap "Info..." from the App drop-down list. All internal data information is displayed.
Tap "Size" at the bottom of the screen.
Check the "Free Space:..." listed.
Tap the "Done" button to exit.
During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
Make sure that Palm Desktop for CLI��? software is installed on your PC from the installation CD-ROM supplied with your CLI�� handheld and that the PC is configured to be able to perform a HotSync? operation.
It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions
Download the INST_NETFRONT1136US.PRC file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
WARNING!!: Please perform a soft reset on your CLI��? handheld BEFORE performing the update installation by pressing the small reset button on the back of your CLI��? handheld. For more detailed information, refer to the CLI��? handheld Read This First Manual.
Start the Palm Desktop for CLI��? software.
Click the "Install" icon. The Install tool wizard starts.
Select the appropriate user name from the user list.
Click "Add."
Navigate to the directory to which you extracted the files in step 5.
Select the "INST_NETFRONT1136US.PRC" file and click "Open."
Click "Done."
Place your CLI�� handheld on the cradle, and perform a HotSync operation.
After the HotSync? operation finishes, you are prompted to reset your CLI�� handheld. Tap "Reset."
NOTE: When installing the files from a Memory Stick? media, it is necessary to perform a soft reset of the CLI��? Handheld after the installation.
Confirm a Successful Installation
Tap the "Home" icon on the CLI��? handheld.
Tap the "NetFront" icon to start the application.
Tap the "Menu" icon and select Options.
From the Options drop-down list, tap "About." The "About NetFront" dialog box appears.
Confirm that Revision number is 1.1.36 (en).
Tap the "OK" button to exit.
NOTE: If the version number is not 1.1.36, please download the INST_NETFRONT1136US.PRC file and install the files again.
