1. Requirements
===============
Battle City works on any Palm OS 3.1 (or above) compatible device.
2. Installation
===============
To install the games to your handheld choose the game file, for example,
worm.prc
and run it using Explorer, commandline, or your favorite file manager.
Palm Software Installation utility will prompt you with other installation
options.
Palm IIIc users should install color version of the game which (if exists)
named, for example,
hangman_color.prc
3. Game Rules
=============
The aim of the game is to defend the city from enemies. You have to drive the tank and destroy enemy's tanks and you must survive.
The city consists of different terrain types and walls. Also there is an Eagle you defend. If you let Eagle die, there's no matter how many tanks you have, the game overs... Once you blow up enemies new level starts. There are about 15 levels in each of 3 missions and we will add more.
Terrain types:
--------------
Wall - can be destroyed by tank's fire
Strong Wall - there's no weapon to destroy it, sorry...
Water - unfortunately a tank cannot "walk on a water" and it can't even swim, but it can fire over the water
Forest - while in the forest tanks and missles are invisible, so forest is a danger place
Enemies:
--------
Heavy tank - big and slow, you have to hit it triple until you see explosion
Medium tank - not so big and a bit faster, two missles is enough
Light tank - kamikadze (as well as your own tank)
We do not recommend to run into the enemies, remember you have no missle limit but thin armor.
Bonuses:
--------
There are a lot of things you can find while hunting. The only problem your enemies can too. We hope you'll be faster. Each bonus makes you (eh... if you'll be first) stronger. But there's a time limit...
Being gathered by you:
Eagle's armor - defenses Eagle with strong wall
Your armor - makes you holy, and you can ignore those nasty missles wanting to kill you
Cannon - allows to fire an additional missle
Life - just life
Engine - leave it if you don't like high speed
Being gathered by enemy:
Eagle's armor - removes Eagle defense
Your armor - makes holy all of your enemies, so there are seconds when you can do nothing
Cannon - they will fire, you will run and hide (we just mean enemy's fire activity doubled)
Life - all enemies get heavy armor (three hits to destroy even light tank)
Engine - they'll be fast
What is on the screen:

There is an additional info on the right side of the screen. The number of enemies to appear, number of your tanks to disappear and a number of seconds left of bonus activity.
How to drive and fire:
----------------------
It is much easier to drive tank on Palm than in real life. Six buttons make you a professional warrior.
Up: move forward
Down: move back (Sorry, we invented nothing new)
Address Book: pause the game
Memo: fire (you can hold it to fire, fire and fire)
Todo: move left
Date: move right
And remember you can redefine this keys!
