Lordinium is a mature Medieval Role Playing Game exclusively designed for PalmOS. The game features a dynamic environment, which evolves according to your acts and decisions. It means that it's up to you to prevail a fief against another, to become rich and famous, to concentrate on mission fulfilment, to seek for fighting knowledge,...
It's just up to you. But it won't be easy.

How to install
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Use an extractor program such as WinZip on the PC or Stuffit Expander on the Mac to get at the Lordinium files. Install Lordinium Installer.prc by double-clicking that file.

Use the HotSync button as usual to install the game onto your handheld.

Clic on the just installed "Install Lordinium" icon.

Now run Lordinium to play the game!

NOTE :
Lordinium works on Palmhandelds supporting 4bits display.

Once LordiniumInstaller run on your handeld, Lordinium appears as one file on your main sceen, and as a total of 3 files in menu/info-delete :

- Lordinium 758 ko
- Sat Forms EE RDK 4.1 169 ko
- Temp Install Data 6 ko

For UPDATE INSTALLATION, delete those 3 files on your handeld before installing the new Lordinium Installer version.

CAUTION :
BE SURE YOUR PALM CAN RUN 4bits images ! (not the case for handspring vizor,...)

��� Save game files

Lordinium features auto-save system.
But what if you want to preserve your hero from hard reset or store and play different characters.
Well, it's now that simple : each 22 quarters, Lordinium will automatically generate an independant file on your handeld, (yourheroname.pdb).

Do a hotsync and store it anywhere. If you want to install your hero, do a hotsync and runs that file.

CAUTION
I strongly recommend to manage your hero file carefully : do a hotsync and store it in a special folder as soon as possible after its creation (reason : once run, the file is deleted from your handeld), after that you may delete the file on your handeld (reason : if run, no confirmation is asked to replace the current status). I also recommend not to have different hero files on your handeld (though technically speaking, nothing prevents you from doing that).


Registering

The unregistered version is NOT limited in time. Rather in character development.

If you enjoy the game mecanisms you will soon understand what it means. Registration enables full game play.

To register this program, visit http://www.palmgear.com or http://www.handandgo and search for Lordinium.

The registration key will normally be sent out by email within 48 hours of you registering.


IMPORTANT technical note
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Lordinium II suffers from a issue that only appears after continuous period of play (when you don't quit the app). The period may vary depending on your palm. It's a kind of resident bug of previous version -though greatly minimized- :
The game begins to slow down (and eventually will fail in displaying some images), when this happens, just quit (click any soft or hard palm buttons) and reload the game. It will continue at the exact spot where you left it.
Don't hesitate to do the quit+reload process as soon as you feel the game slows down.
This bug is not linked to the game but rather to the code engine (so, no need to mail me bug report:).
I am waiting for the definite fix schedulded in December 2002, and free patch will be available then.
I decided to make Lordinium available despite the issue (don't punish me for that).
