Calendar is an application for managing your 
appointments. Information about appointments, meetings, 
and other commitments you input into Calendar, can be 
displayed in a variety of different formats.
You can even set alarms to keep you reminded of 
appointments.

About This Update
---------------------------------------------------------
<> Go to Date
   This function lets you jump to the appointments for 
   a specific date. This eliminates the need to scroll 
   month-by-month to find a data that is far from the 
   one that is currently displayed. 

<> Delete Range
   This function lets you delete all of the appointments 
   scheduled for a specific range of dates. You can even 
   specify whether or not to delete recurring 
   appointments that fall within the specified period. 
   Deleting the first date of a recurring appointment 
   deletes all of the instances of the recurring 
   appointment. 

<> Fixes a problem that can cause recurring appointment 
   alarms to fail to sound.

To jump to a specific date 
---------------------------------------------------------
1. From the Calendar initial startup screen, tap [Tool] 
   and then "Go to Date". 

2. On the data specification dialog box that appears, 
   specify the date to which you want to jump, 
   and then tap [OK]. 

3. This jumps to the date you specified.

To delete the appointments within a range of dates 
---------------------------------------------------------
1. From the Calendar initial startup screen, tap [Tool] 
   and then "Delete Range". 

2. On the data specification dialog box that appears, 
   specify the range of dates whose data you want to 
   clear, and then tap [OK]. 
   If you also want to delete all instances of recurring
   appointments, select (check) the "Also delete 
   recurring appointments." option. 

3. In response to the confirmation dialog box that 
   appears, tap [Yes]. 

4. This deletes all of the appointments within the range 
   of dates you specified.

To install this update

Installation Precautions 

    # Calendar is a [Main] memory only application. You 
      cannot install it in [Card] memory. 

    # You do not need to install Calendar if the following
      message appears during installation: 
         "Installation interrupted. 
          The same version already exists in CASSIOPEIA,
          or this is the older version.
          Reset your CASSIOPEIA." 
      You do need to reset your CASSIOPEIA, however. 
      If you still want to re-install Calendar after the 
      above message appears, use the procedure below to 
      uninstall it and then re-install. 

1. Prepare for installation. 
   Install the PC Connect application on your PC, and then 
   connect your CASSIOPEIA to your PC. See "Chapter 6 Using 
   Your CASSIOPEIA with Your Computer" in your BE-300 User's 
   Guide for more information. 

2. Double-click SETUP.EXE. 

3. Follow the instructions that appear on your computer 
   screen. 

4. Your CASSIOPEIA will reset automatically after 
   installation is complete. Following the reset operation, 
   a new Calendar will be appeared on the Top Menu. 

5. To start up Calendar, tap its icon on the Top Menu.

To uninstall the update

1. Press the Top Menu button. 

2. Tap [Edit] and then [Delete Application]. 

3. Double-tap the application you want to uninstall. 

4. In response to the confirmation dialog box that appears, 
   tap [Yes].
