What Does This Do?
This program installs the Sony? Game Controller Software Update to provide the following enhancements:
Updates the PEGA-GC10 Game Controller application software
PalmOS? 5 Support (For PEG-NX60 and PEG-NX70V)
Ability to program functions into the Game Controller X and Y buttons and also allows the device to be used in conjunction with NX series CLI¨¦? Handheld products.

IMPORTANT: This file is only for use with the models identified. Not all models are sold in all countries.
Important Notes
This update requires that approximately 650KB** of memory be available in your CLI¨¦? handheld. Before installing this application, confirm that there is enough memory available.
To check the available memory in your CLI¨¦? Handheld:
i) Tap the "Home" icon
ii) Tap the "Menu" icon, and select "App"
iii) Tap "Info" from the App drop-down list
iv) Tap the "Size" icon at the bottom of the screen
v)Tap the "Done" button to exit

**This size requirement pertains to SYSTEM files only, and will vary (increase) if any of the trial games are installed.
During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
Make sure that Palm? Desktop for CLI¨¦? software is installed on your PC from the installation CD-ROM supplied with the PEG-NX60 or PEG-NX70V CLI¨¦? handheld
Please confirm that your PC is configured to be able to perform a HotSync? operation with the CLI¨¦ Handheld PEG-NX60 or PEG-NX70V device. (For the detailed information about HotSync, refer to the CLI¨¦? Read This First manual.)
To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions
Download the GAMECONUPDATE.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
WARNING!!: Please perform a soft reset on your CLI¨¦? handheld BEFORE performing the update installation by pressing the small reset button on the back of your CLI¨¦? handheld. For more detailed information, refer to the CLI¨¦? Read This First manual.
Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the GAMECONUPDATE.EXE file to begin the installation.
At the "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Palm Desktop for CLIE 4.0.1 Maintenance Pack" screen, click Next.
At "Select Components" screen, leave the checkmark next to System Files.
NOTE: If you do not want to install any trial games, skip to step 9.
Click the plus(+) sign next to Games (trial version) to expand it.
From the Games sub-menu click to check any desired trial games to be installed in your CLI¨¦ Handheld.
NOTE: DaDa Racer is not compatible with the CLI¨¦ Handheld NX series.
Click Next.
At "Install Tool" window, select the desired username from the user list, and click OK.
Click the Add... button.
Under File Name, verify that GameConLoader.prc and JogAssistLoader.prc are listed and click Done.
Place your CLI¨¦? handheld on the cradle, and perform a HotSync operation.
After the HotSync operation finishes, you are prompted to reset your CLI¨¦? handheld.
Tap "Reset."
Confirm a Successful Installation
Tap the "Home" icon on the CLI¨¦? handheld.
Tap the "Menu" icon, and select "App".
Tap "Info" from the App drop-down list. All internal data information is displayed.
Tap "Version" at the bottom of the screen. The software version for each item is displayed.
Scroll down the list and confirm that the following filenames and versions are displayed:
For PEG-NX60 and PEG-NX70V Models
GameCon 2.0E
GameCnLoader 1.0
GameControllerLib 200.0
JogAssistLoader 1.0

For PEG-NR70, PEG-NR70V, PEG-SL10, PEG-SJ20, PEG-SJ30, PEG-T415, PEG-T615C and PEG-T665C
GameCon 1.10E
GameCnLoader 1.0
JogAssistLoader 1.0
Tap the "Done" button to exit.
NOTE: If the files and versions above are not listed, please download and install the update again.
