---------------------------------------------------------------------
Operation
of the program should be self evident.

There are two modes of data entry - either into a pre-formatted string
with zeros as placeholders (eg 0000-00-00 in HMS mode), or as individual
digits entered from the right hand end to build the value.

In pre-formatted entry mode digits are validated as they are entered, for
example entering an 8 in the tens of seconds place will increment the minutes
by one unit and show a two in the tens of seconds place.

In right-hand entry mode the digits are not validated until an operation key
is pressed - the display will then update with a valid time. In this mode
hyphens are automatically inserted as the number builds up.

Values are entered via the on screen buttons - graffiti input of numbers is
not supported.

Switching mode will reformat all the displayed numbers - unless you are in
the middle of entering a value in right-hand entry mode, in which case it
will not reformat until you press a 'Calc' key.

the result can not be less than zero or greater than 99 days

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Limitations:
PalmOS 3.5 or higher is required
No Graffiti number input - use the buttons
  Maximum time value is 99 days + 23 hours + 59 mins + 59 seconds
Negative values can not be handled - calculations that result in a negative time will show an error box and then a result of zero.
Until you purchase a registration code the program will refuse to work on approx one day a week
Program will work for 30days evaluation period - after this time you must pay for it

The program has been tested on a PalmV, Sony Clie 650 and on the POSE Emulator with various ROMs -
there are almost certainly undiscovered bugs and problems -
if you have problems please email to bugs@timecalc.co.uk specifying which device
Palm/Handspring/Symbol etc and OS version you have, and also the version and date of the EditCalc application (found under Menu-Options-About)

No warranty is given or implied - you should always back up your data regularly, use of the program is entirely at your own risk.
