1. Description ----------------------------------------------------------------

	Pockethexen is a port of the original source code released by raven software.

	Special features of the port are :

	6 channel stereo sound with pitch bend
	GZip compressed wad support that does not slow down the game (see web site)
	GZip compressed save games
	Soft keyboard for entering cheat codes etc
	Shareware or full retail mode
	Support for custom levels

2. Installation ---------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

	1. Make a \hexen directory on the root of your storage card or the root 
	   of main memory
	2. Copy the files from this distribution into this directory
	3. You can make a shorcut to the pockethexen.exe by copying it and 
	   pasting a shortcut in \windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games
	4. Copy the gx.dll to the \windows directory
	5. Copy your hexen.wad into the hexen directory (Shareware one available on web site)
	6. Copy and custom levels to your \My Documents folder on main memory or the storage card
	7. Run the game
	
3. Getting Started ------------------------------------------------------------

	The welcome screen contains a drop down box at the bottom.
	
	Use this to select :
		Shareware. 	this loads a shareware hexen.wad
		Full retail. 	this loads a full retail hexe.wad (must be patched to version 1.1)
		Custom level.	this loads a custom level in \My documents or \Storage card\My documents

	Then click the launch button to start pockethexen
	
	Keys:
	
	Casio EM500:
	 	Cursor pad		: move left, right, forwards, backwards
	 	Voice record (on side)	: modify button. 
	 				  use with cursor pad to strafe left and right
	 				  use with the jump key to show the menu
	 				  also escape in menu
	 	Bottom left button	: jump 
	 	                          also with modify for menu
	 	                          also selects items in menu
	 	Bottom right button	: use weapon
	 	Top button		: open doors
	 	
	 Other PPCs:
	 	Uses the game api to report the best keys.
	 	Start			: modify button above
	 	A button		:
	 	B button		:
	 	C button		:
	 	
	 	If someone could let me know how this works out on other machines
	 	I will put the details in for each PPC
	 	
4. Known problems -------------------------------------------------------------

	No soft keyboard on the ARM build. Working on it

5. Limitations ----------------------------------------------------------------

	No network game support. Please let me know if you want this.
	If enough people complain I will put it in.
