Welcome to the UK/Europe Safety Camera map for Garmin mapping GPSRs.

This map is a transparent POI (Points Of Interest) map, which when installed on a
Garmin mapping GPSR, will overlay the map(s) underneath (City Navigator, City Select,
MetroGuide or just the basemap that comes with the unit).

1. INSTALLATION

	(a) The downloaded .zip file should contain 2 files:-
		README.TXT (this file)
		SafetyCameraMap.msi

	(b) Double-click the .msi file to start the installation process.

There are two choices to make:

	(c) The first choice is the map type: Standard or iQue.
The *only* difference is that the Gatso and Truvelo cameras are shown
as RED in the Standard map, and ORANGE in the iQue map. This is because there are some
readability issues with the red POIs on iQue systems. Note that you can only have one of
the map types installed at a time. If you want to try the alternate map you will need
to uninstall the map (see section 4 below), then re-run the install process.

	(d) The second decision to make is where you would like the maps to be installed.
Choose a suitable folder. The installation process will create the folder if required.

	(e) When the installation process has completed you may use the Garmin MapSource
program to view or download the map to your GPSR.

2. DOWNLOADING TO YOUR GPSR

From within MapSource, select "Safety Cameras UK/EURO 4.xxx" from the Mapset selection
dropdown box. You can then select the UK map, the European map, or both using the normal
map selection tool, along with any other maps you wish to download at the same time,
then send them to the GPSR in the usual way.

3. USING THE MAP

The map will behave like any other Garmin map, apart from the fact that it is
transparent, allowing any underlying maps to show through. It is sometimes possible
that the Safety Camera map can obscure the map behind due to the concentration of POIs.
In this situation the "Speed Cameras UK/EURO" map set can be temporarily "turned off"
in the Map Info page of your GPSR to see the maps behind. On a 26x0 this feature
is in the "Map Info" screen. On the eMap it is in the "MapSource Info" screen.

	Key to UK maps:
Gatso / Truvelo - Red (or Orange depending on choice at time of installation)
	Temporary Cameras - White
	SPECS - Blue
	Mobile Cameras - Green
	Traffic Light Cameras - Multi-coloured

For European maps the camera type information is not available in the PocketGPS
database, so all European cameras are shown the same colour as GATSOs. This is
either Red or Orange depending on choice at time of installation.

4. UNINSTALLING THE MAP

You can Uninstall the map by using the standard Windows Add/Remove Programs
screen in Control Panel, or you can double-click the original .MSI file. In either
case you will be presented with the choice of uninstalling or repairing the
	current installation.

5. DISCLAIMER

I have used this map for many hours, both on a Garmin 2610 and an eMap. No
problems with reliability were found with either unit. However, you use this at
your own risk. No liability will be accepted by the author, or providers of the
data or anyone involved in the distribution, hosting or delivery of the package,
for any loss of data or damage to equipment caused directly or indirectly by
	the use of this map.
